Xava Skybar

Xava Skybar opened on 1 August 2026 atop the National Gallery Singapore, taking over the sixth-floor unit in the City Hall Wing that previously housed Art di Daniele Sperindio and, before that, Aura Sky Lounge. The 7,000 sq ft space wraps around an open-air terrace looking out over the Padang toward Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum, the Esplanade and the Singapore Flyer — one of the cleaner Civic District panoramas going.

The venue is deliberately programmed to change character through the day, split into four stretches: business lunches from 11am (two- and three-course set menus from S$38++), a slower afternoon of coffee-into-cocktails, a golden-hour dinner service as the light drops behind the skyline, and a late session that runs past midnight. Group head mixologist Yazid, previously with COMO Group and Lo & Behold, builds the drinks list around regional flavours — the XAVA Sling reworks the Singapore classic with guava, pineapple and longan honey, while Mango Hour leans on glutinous rice, coconut and mango caviar. Kitchen highlights include Obsiblue king prawn mosaic and bourbon-glazed beef short ribs.

It comes from Center of the Universe (C.O.T.U.), a team drawn from Massive Collective, Attica and Zouk Kuala Lumpur, and is the second rooftop venue to land in the building this year after Milli one wing over. Terrace seating is weather-dependent with indoor relocation subject to availability, and from 10pm entry is restricted to guests aged 18 and above.
